Covid-19 Diaries:

March 2020 onwards

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic began in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and it was declared an international public health emergency by the World Health Organisation in January 2020. Lockdown in the UK started on 23rd March 2020 and, classed as an extremely clinically vulnerable individual, I was advised to strictly self-isolate. These photos document isolation from my perspective, staying at home with my family. My two sons returned from university to join my husband, my daughter and me. My overriding feeling is how lucky we have been and we settled in to our new normal with relative ease. Thursday evenings were the highlight of our lockdown week with the NHS clap at 8pm followed by Jay’s virtual pub quiz on Youtube.

These images were taken from March to May 2020.
