Window to the Soul

I enjoy the aesthetic and dynamic of photographing people in the street through windows.

This is a series of candid photographs of people captured whilst they go about their daily lives. It has been said since biblical times that the eyes are “the window to the soul” and my aim is to demonstrate the vulnerability and rawness of emotions that come about in that split second when direct eye contact is made with a stranger. These photos are all single shots with minimal post processing. Most are taken with manual focus Pentax lenses which give a soft, vintage quality to the images.
